FLVS Full Time Public Schools Graduation
School Spirit & Lasting Memories
Each May, Florida Virtual Full Time Public School (FLVS Full Time) holds an in-person commencement for students graduating from Florida Virtual High School (FVHS). The annual commencement is attended by thousands of students, family members, and friends from across the state.
FVHS, along with Florida Virtual Middle School and Florida Virtual Elementary School, comprises FLVS Full Time Public Schools, the only fully virtual public school district in Florida.
Note: Because FLVS Flex students receive diplomas through their school of record or homeschool program, they are not eligible to participate in the FLVS Full Time graduation ceremony, which is reserved for students earning an FLVS diploma.
Class of 2026
The Class of 2026 graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 29, 2026, at 1 p.m. EST, at the University of Central Florida in the Addition Financial Arena. (Event information for students and families is available in the Student and Parent Resource Center).

The ceremony concluded with the traditional cap toss, allowing graduates to collectively express their excitement and readiness to embrace new challenges. The tradition dates back to 1912 when it originated at the U.S. Naval Academy.

1,163 students received their high school diploma from Florida Virtual High School (FVHS) at our 2024 graduation, surrounded by thousands of their peers, family members, and friends. More than half of this year’s graduating class have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher, exceeding the national average of 3.0. The ceremony was held at the University of Central Florida’s Addition Financial Arena in Orlando.

Florida Virtual School Graduation Rate Climbs to All‑Time High of 97%
Florida Virtual High School (FVHS) achieved a 97% graduation rate for the 2024–25 academic year, the highest in the school’s history, according to a report from the Florida Department of Education. The rate increased by 0.4 percentage points from the previous year and by seven percentage points since 2021-22.
